Mutation in DOCK11 gene explains rare disorder in immune system regulation
Researchers from the Institut de Recerca Sant Joan de Déu - SJD Barcelona Children's Hospital participate in an international study, published in the prestigious scientific journal New England Journal of Medicine, which describes for the first time a new disease of the immune system caused by a mutation of the DOCK11 gene.

On May 9th, the Institut de Recerca Sant Joan de Déu (IRSJD) brought together the leaders of the Survivorship Network of Expertise, a network framed within the Joint Action on Network of Expertise (JANE2) project, one of the pillars of the European Beating Cancer Plan. During the meeting, key challenges and activities to advance care for cancer survivors in Europe were addressed, and a "working definition" was proposed to help establish an integrative care model for survivors.
