The researcher Laura Carrera has a degree in medicine from the University of Salamanca since 2011. She completed her MIR training in Pediatrics and specific areas during the years 2012 and 2016 at the Central University Hospital of Asturias. Subsequently she obtained accreditation in neuropediatrics endorsed by the Spanish Society of Pediatric Neurology in 2017.
Since 2018, she works as a clinical researcher at the Neuromuscular Diseases Unit of the Hospital Sant Joan de Déu.
